I went to see the movie Marley and Me during the holiday weekend. The movie was a huge hit, I had to stand in line for 20 minutes and it ended up selling out two theaters! The movie was adorable. However, I thought they marketed it a little wrong. All the commercails I saw where cute adn funny, I thought it was going to be a funny famiy film. It was sort of a family film but maybe more for the “older” yoong children. There were a bunch of 2 to 5 year old there that didn’t really seem to grasp some of the concepts to the movie. There were some serious parts that maybe a young child shouldn’t be exposed to. It was a very good film, very touching, but extermly sad! At the end of the movie the whole thearter was crying! The kids were especaillly sad and blubbering. I have seen more serious advertisments since the movie came out so maybe they realized they had to let people know it was a little bit of a drama as well.  I didn’t know it was based on a novel either, I would love to read that book some time though.   I loved the movie but I wouldn’t watch it again unless I was in the mood to cry!

You can always count on having some of the tastiest treats on Christmas! I love the little sandwich cookies, I can eat 20 of them in about 10 mintues! Mint brownies are always good ( as long as they are still a bit gooey in th middle). My all time favorite christmas treat is ginger bread cookies!!! I swear my grandma makes those better then anyone I’ve known!! I love getting together with family stuffing yourself with great food and yummy treats!
