Getting started on the right foot is important with whatever you do. That is how John Eliason feels when it comes to new agents getting started in the merchant services industry.

John is the President of FFUSA and also a former independent agent himself. When he started his company more than 13 years ago, he had already been in the industry for eight years and knew what tools and support he would have appreciated having as he was getting started. He wanted the agents that joined his company to have access to that support right away. It is important for John to know his agents are given the tools they need to be successful - fast. If a new agent can understand the basics and get moving right away, they start generating revenue right away. The faster an agent starts generating revenue (and more of it) they will more likely enjoy working with FFUSA and want to stick around long term. John likes to look at his business not only as agents selling a great service, but building relationships with his agents and merchants in the process.
