Brett Favre is now a Viking. Honestly, this is the best thing that has happened to the VIkings since Randy Moss. Ticket sales are now through the roof and the hype in this city is huge. The opportunity to win a lot of football games is huge. If they do win a lot of games we could be looking at another new stadium in the Mpls area. A lot of people are down on the team for taking the former face of Green Bay… Nobody complained when we took Darren Sharper and Ryan Longwell from the Packers. Does this mean that we will take the good players from GB but not the Hall of Famers? This does not make any sense. FFUSA is looking forward to watching the Viking vs. Packer game on Monday Night Football, October 5th.
Michael Vick has finally been released from prison. I really believe that this guy needs a second chance. An example was made of him due to his status and fame, which is what tends to happen so I think he got the sentence he deserves. But, if the point of prison is reabilitate people and enter them into society, then the NFL better get him back in the league this season. Also, PETA people need to give it a rest. In no way to I condone what Vick did, but, again, he did his time. Give the guy a break.
Man, this guy loves attention. The recent rumors of him moving to the Minnesota Vikings have put him right back into the spotlight. Personally, I would welcome him to Minnesota with open arms, not because I am a fan but because I know how angry it will make the people in the wretched state to the east known as Wisconson. There would be nothing better than to see Favre beat the Packers in Green Bay wearing a Minnesota Vikings jersey. Let just hope is arm doesn’t fall off….
